VIII Poland & CEE Retail Summit 2016 - video coverage



This year’s edition was different than the previous ones in all possible ways! We had almost 1100 Participants from 432 companies! Representatives of:
63 retail chains (including 10/10 the biggest chains in Poland), distributors and online stores
132 FMCG producers
almost 200 companies providing support services for the retail market - present on the Summit have proven it to be the biggest and most representative meeting of the retail sector in Poland.
The aim of Poland & CEE Retail Summit congress is to build a business community which creates new quality and develops Polish and European trade. Each consecutive edition of Poland & CEE Retail Summit congress achieves this aim in practice through joint definition of the challenges for the sector, building a better understanding of business objectives set by retail chains and producers, promoting good practices of cooperation between FMCG producers and retail chains, and creating a space unique in the CEE region that facilitates establishing relations and starting discussions about future cooperation.
The increasing attendance (over 920 participants during the 2015 edition) and group of regular and new congress participants confirms the efficiency of the event’s formula. In order to better meet participants’ expectations, as each year, we will offer you a number of innovations and changes:

we will extend the speed networking session to intensify networking opportunities through more meetings;
we will organise two Trade Briefing sessions during which retail chains will present their strategic assumptions for the years to come;
We will invite numerous representatives of international commerce sector, among others: SPAR International Holland, METRO AG Germany, X5 Retail Group Russia, FOZZY Group Ukraine, Profi Rom Food Romania.;
For the first time: 5th parallel session: “Innovations and trends in retail” presenting solutions to increase trade competitiveness;
we are developing the functionalities of RS2016 networking application.
