Nikon Photo Contest 2016-2017 Promotion Movie All Judges



Currently in its 36th year , the Nikon Photo Contest is one of the world’s largest international photo contests. The goal behind this contest is to provide an opportunity for photographers who want to share their stories and enrich the photographic culture.

Hear what the judges, Neville Brody, Wang Lei, Yao Wei Wei, and Bharat Sikka have to say about the Nikon Photo Contest.

The 2016-2017 Nikon Photo Contest runs from 17 October 2016 to 27 January 2017. The competition is open to all, regardless of age, gender, or nationality.

Criteria for Judging
Aaron and the Phlearn team are looking for the following in a winning entry.

Humor – Phlearn has always been about the happier, lighter, more Phun side of life. The funnier the better.
Editing Skill – Your ability to layout a scene, composite it together, retouch, and pull off a seamless edit will factor heavily into our judging.
Creativity & Concept – Aaron is looking for some wild ideas. Stretch your imagination and let the skills you have learned via Phlearn fill in the rest.

How to Submit Your Entry:
In order for us to receive your entry, you must do the following.

Upload it to Facebook (as a Public post), Instagram, or Twitter.
Tag your entry with the hashtag #phlearnaaron.
Add the @Phlearn handle.

Announcing Winners
The deadline for submissions is end of day Friday June 17th, 2016 CST.
Submissions will be reviewed on the 18th and 19th.
The Grand Prize winner and two Runner Up winners will be announced on Monday June 20th, 2016.

All three winners will be featured on Phlearn.com, our social media accounts, and in our newsletter!
